Power Seraya Self Service Portal is a billing platform for the customers to pay their electricity bills associated with rewards and rebates mechanism. Apart from Billing, the application has provision to upload customers documents and receive push notifications and promotions whenever required. Monthly charts of their consumptions, renewal electricity plans, power eco add-ons, green certs are some of the highlights of this application. We developed a progressive web app with React JS for the self service portal, supporting desktop and mobile users. The app is available in production for both desktop and .mobile app. Recently added customer CHAT APP using MERN Stack. Through this chat application, customer can communicate with our CX team for any issues. This app is created using MongoDB, NodeJS Express and React. We have also implemented queue management for better usability in this chat app.

DXC OmniLocation® is a suite of services designed to reduce our clients’ business risks by making the enterprise and its environment completely visible. OmniLocation combines dynamic data from the natural and manmade world with streaming data from IoT assets, and business systems to provide smart enterprise visibility. Through OmniLocation, DXC provides services that digitise our client’s environment, assets, shipments, remote resources, and industrial sites in three dimensions, plus time, value, and risk. OmniLocation provides actionable intelligence and the tools to measure and manage enterprise risk, supply chain/lane, asset utilisation, remote workers, industrial sites and campuses, as well as multi-modal transportation.

Project | 03 Workforce Management System

Workforce Management App is a crowd source monitoring and assets monitoring system which comprises of two modules – iStaff (the mobile app for the staffs) and 5DCC (the web-based command centre).

 

The iStaff mobile application is capable of doing time keeping for the staffs based on the location. Locations are being tracked by GPS and beacons. This app is capable of giving location accuracy of approximately 3- 4 meters through beacon triangulation. The app automatically switches between GPS and BLE whenever they are in the range of the BLE beacons and vice versa. Amongst other features in the application we have – Leave Management module, Task Management Module, Firebase Notifications, Messaging (chat, audio, video exchange), Timesheet management module, User Settings for reminders, Language Preferences (supporting 7 languages), User profile management, KPI dashboard, Assets health monitor module(beacons). 

 

The 5DCC web application is used to visualise the run time position of the users performing the daily shift or tasks. Task creation happens through this system which considers staff’s availability, staff’s schedule and staff’s location. The system is capable of doing automatic staff scheduling for any day depending on the staff’s role, department, expertise, location and availability. It also constantly monitors the health of the assets and issue replacements in order of flaws. A 5DCC user can directly send messages or receive messages from the staff app and take actions during emergencies. Both the iStaff-5DCC has emergency alert system in place which enables the iStaff user to trigger the panic button and informs the 5DCC panel through alarms giving the exact location of emergency.

Frog Asia is an independent entity of YTL in Malaysia. They are responsible for the online virtual learning education across Malaysia under MOE (Ministry of Education). This chat application is basically for the teachers, students and their parents to interact with each other’s. It has all the features similar to any chat application enabling them to share documents, progress reports, attendance report, educative photos, videos and tutorials

iHajj application is for the Hajj pilgrims who travel every year for performing Hajj and Umrah. This app allows the users to see and learn the rituals they need to perform during Hajj and Umrah. It includes features like Augmented Reality through which the users can search any point of interest (hotels, mosques, restaurants, hospitals etc.,) around their vicinity. The application has been powered with feature of allowing the users to report any incident happening around them which syncs with our cloud and let the other users aware of such situations if they are around that vicinity. It is for their general awareness and safety measures since we have many so cases of stampedes, emergencies happening during Hajj. The app enables the users to chat with their close ones and search them through this app. Also considering the user sentiments, we have kept alarms and reminders for various prayer timings

Project | 06 Run Alpha
 

Run Alpha is an application that was developed for Alpha. Alpha is an organization which organizes various sessions for moral upliftment of Christian society. They help in general awareness and knowledge about Jesus and his teachings. They wanted an app which can reflect what they do in real world. Alpha is nothing, but these sessions conducted every week and month. Some of the feature present in the application which reflect their activities are as follows - latest journal articles, type in user location to find an Alpha session nearby, get the best training for running Alpha, add more than one Alpha at a time and promote it on the app and alpha.org, get and add ‘To Dos’, set reminders and tick off what Alpha does each week, set the time and dates for Alpha sessions, get weekly prayer ideas and add our own prayers.

PVR cinemas allow users to book their movie tickets for any upcoming movies. It allows the user to stay updated with the latest movie information, schedules and timing. This app has also feature for pre-booking tickets, food and seats. It has many exclusive loyalty benefits for the customers. The app keeps track of the user’s choices for the movies and suggest recommendations and preferences. It is the most widely used application across all the metro cities in India

ERL is the Express Rail Link (Rail Authority) in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Thousands of passengers’ travel through KLIA train every day.

KLIA Express app is developed for the passengers to book tickets, get travel cards, get monthly cards for their day to day travel. It is available globally for even tourists who visit KL for their leisure time. It has features like VIP pass which if taken, takes care of the tourists coming from anywhere to travel till their destination place via ERL service. Special staffs are allocated for this service who takes care of the user until they reach their destination including luggage carry, taxi booking etc. This app implements all types of payment (debit and credit) for buying the tickets. It also gives special discounts, offers and promotions whenever wherever implied.

 

Mobile Validator is an iPhone application for the ticketing officer to sell, scan tickets and check their validity. The application is integrated with Verifone sleeve (VX600). This sleeve has the facility to swipe card, read chip card and read contact less cards by tap in. A passenger can buy his/her ticket by paying direct cash, swiping his/her card or tapping his/her smart cards. The sleeve is intelligent enough to read the card and pass the details to the Mobile Validator application for further processing. This application will help the passengers not to stand in queue for getting the tickets from the station counters, but on the contrary, they will be given a Ticketing Officer who can instantly sell the tickets to the passengers and also generate the ticket with the help of Bluetooth Printer (Verifone device) which is connected to the iPhone via Bluetooth.

It is being used across all the station that ERL has. It also acts as a ticket validator whenever the gates do not work during malfunction. The passenger tickets are scanned and validated through barcodes and hence they are allowed to come and go off the platforms

Project | 09 Tokio Marine Insurance App

Tokio Marine Life Insurance is a part of Global Tokio Marine. One application for both consumers and Tokio Marine insurance agents. Depending on the user preference the app switches. The insurance agents can sell different policies to their customers depending on their income, age etc. Whereas through the consumer app, the user can submit their claims, get notifications for different upcoming policies. During emergencies, the application allows the users to search for any nearby clinics, hospitals and also gives directions to those places.

The idea of this application was to reduce physical paper work and do everything digitally. The user information and signatures are captured through mobile itself. We had implemented open source OCR (tesseract) to scan the user identity (passports, myKad etc.,) and use it for user registration. We also implemented augmented reality which enables the user to just pan the camera around them and get the point of interests – places where they may visit.
